Getting to Edinburgh

By Plane:

Edinburgh International Airport is well connected to many European airports. The city centre (Princes Street) can be reached in 30 minutes by bus (Airlink 100) that runs regularly 24/7 or by tram. The bus costs £5.50 (one way) or £8.00 (return) per person. The tram costs £7.00 (one way) or £9.00 (return).

A taxi from the Airport to the city centre will cost £25-35 depending on the time of day.

By Train:

Travelling by Eurostar to London is possible from Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Bruges and Lille. You would then need to take the train from London to Edinburgh Waverley.

Travelling to Edinburgh (Waverley) by train is possible by multiple routes. Travelling from London will see you take an LNER service along the east coast taking around 4.5 hours. From Birmingham, various routes will allow you to get the Waverly taking roughly 4.5 hours. Prices will vary depending on dates and when booked.

Edinburgh Waverley Station is located in the centre of Edinburgh on Princes Street.

The conference venue is located 2 miles south of the city centre at the King's Buildings Campus of the University of Edinburgh (see Travel and Meeting Venue).
